The statue of freedom is a model on freedom island in center of New York city , the statute was outlined by a French artist and devoted to October 28 , 1886, it was a blessing to individuals of united states from the populace of France . the statue is of a robed female figure speaking to the flexibility  it bears a light and  a tablet bringing out the law ,whereupon is engraved the date of the American Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776. A broken chain lies at her feet. The statue is a symbol of flexibility and of the United States: an inviting sign to migrants landing from abroad. 

Bartholdi was propelled by French law educator and legislator Édouard RenĂ© de Laboulaye, why should said have remarked in 1865 that any landmark raised to American autonomy would legitimately be a joint venture of the French and American people groups.
